Our site in Jamaica is for Yale medical students who are interested in global health from a surgical perspective. Students will participate in surgical rounds at the University Hospital in Kingston. Paired with UWI students, Yale students will have the opportunity to work with Dr. Hilary Brown. Dr. Brown, a native of Jamaica, completed her surgical residency and later, fellowship at Yale. Rotations in Jamaica are 4 weeks.

Student will be housed in student housing on the Mona campus of UWI in Kingston.
