2025 Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day
Registration and abstract submission deadline is Friday, May 9.
The Yale Center for Clinical Investigation is pleased to announce that registration and abstract submission is now open for the Robert S. Sherwin All Scholar Day 2025 Symposium. The event will be free and open to all members of the Yale community.
First launched by Dr. Robert “Bob” S. Sherwin, the inaugural director of the Yale Center for Clinical Investigation, the Robert S. Sherwin YCCI All Scholar Day is a celebration of the center’s educational programs and the accomplishments of the trainees and scholars at all levels.
Now in its 20th year, the YCCI has supported 227 junior faculty members. 99 percent of scholars remain engaged in research continuing to successfully compete for independent grants (including ~540 NIH grants) worth over $1.4 billion and publishing approximately 10,800 papers.
The successes of the program are a reflection of Dr. Sherwin’s visionary leadership, tremendous dedication, and passion for training the next generation of clinical and translational researchers. Please join us for this year’s combined celebration of the YCCI trainees and Bob’s incredible legacy.
The event will be held on June 13 starting at 8:30 AM in The Anlyan Center (TAC) Auditorium, 300 Cedar St. The keynote speaker is Darrell Kotton, MD, David C. Seldin Professor in the Department of Medicine at the Boston University Chobanian and Avedesian School of Medicine.
We invite all registrants to submit abstracts that span a wide range of topics in basic, translational, clinical, and community-based research (T0 – T4) for consideration for oral and poster presentations. A review committee will select abstracts for 20-minute oral presentations. Speakers and poster presenters will be notified by May 19. Abstracts should be uploaded while completing the registration form.
This is a unique platform to showcase your innovative work, gain valuable feedback, and connect with peers and leaders in the field at Yale.
