    Biography

    Dr. Andres Brenes Bastos is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Anesthesiology and Director for Quality and Safety for the Division of Adult Multispecialty Operative Anesthesia. He completed his residency in Anesthesiology at Universidad de Costa Rica in 2014, where he graduated Magna Cum Laude. Dr. Brenes Bastos also served as Clinical Director of the Anesthesia Department at Hospital de Upala, Costa Rica. Before joining Yale, Dr. Brenes Bastos completed a Neurosurgical Anesthesiology and a Neurocritical Care Fellowship at Harvard Medical School, BIDMC Department of Anesthesia Critical Care and Pain Medicine.
