Orthopaedic Trauma Fellowship
The Yale Department of Orthopaedics & Rehabilitation Trauma Fellowship is a one-year fellowship that focuses on the development of in-depth knowledge, patient care skills and surgical expertise in the field of orthopaedic trauma.
In this centralized trauma fellowship, based out of Yale New Haven Hospital’s York Street and Saint Raphael campuses, you will operate alongside world-renowned, fellowship-trained, orthopaedic traumatologists. Each faculty member in the division has diverse sub-interests within trauma, which will provide you with a wide exposure to advanced practices. The fellowship is designed to provide flexibility for you to obtain the training and skills you will need in your future practice.
The Yale Trauma Fellowship is accredited through the Orthopedic Trauma Association (OTA) and accepts one fellow annually for a position beginning August 1st and ending July 31st of the following year.
The fellowship was fantastic and illuminating. Excellent breadth of cases, motivated faculty, graduated autonomy, and close mentorship made the experience very rewarding.
