Biography

Brad St Martin, MD, MPH, is a Clinical Fellow in Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery at Yale University. Prior to fellowship, he completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Stanford University. Dr St Martin's research interests are at the intersection of health economics, cost-effective analysis, and addressing barriers to care. He enjoys using large clinical databases to answer critical clinical questions, striving to make healthcare more accessible and efficient. His academic journey began at Providence College where he pursued a B.A. in Economics and a B.S. in Biology, reflecting his multidisciplinary approach to healthcare challenges. He then completed his Master's in Public Health (MPH) from Yale School of Public Health, specializing in Epidemiology and Global Health. Prior to medical school, Brad gained valuable experience working at health insurer Humana in Louisville, where he contributed to the Clinical Outcomes and Data Analytics Division analyzing the clinical aspects of Humana's population using large clinical and pharmaceutical databases. He also spent time there serving as a Consultant for clinical program design. He then attended the University of Kentucky, where he earned his MD prior to residency. Outside of his professional pursuits, Brad enjoys family life in Connecticut, where he and his wife raise four energetic boys.
