Previously, Arya worked to understand the impact of parasitic coinfection on SARS-CoV-2 pathogenesis. Currently, she’s interested in understanding the antibody response to persistent murine norovirus (MNV). MNV is a model for human norovirus (HNV), an enteric virus that is the leading cause of gastroenteritis, causing around 200,000 deaths each year.
