YSM Editing Service Clients Moving to a Ticketing System

As many of you who already use YSM Web Support may have noticed, the YSM Web Group has been transitioning to the JIRA ticketing system as the primary method to request help.

Web Services is now switching to this system for Edit Requests as well. This means several things for you. We will:

  1. Shut down the individual Edit Request Form pages you’ve been using AND
  2. Stop asking you to use Box as the primary method for uploading files; JIRA lets you attach files directly with a request!

Your options will now be:

Our goal is to make it easier to track requests and to provide better, faster service.

  1. Continue emailing web.services@yale.edu, which will automatically generate a request ticket for you OR
  2. Create a JIRA account here so you can view and comment directly on your request tickets.

We encourage you to create an account but regardless, you will still receive automated email notifications when a ticket's status is updated or a comment is added.
