The Department of Internal Medicine's Visiting Student Scholarship Program is still accepting applications for three scholarships in 2026.
Scholarship recipients will spend four weeks in a medicine elective at Yale New Haven Hospital's York Street or Saint Raphael campuses. The elective must be completed by the end of September.
The program immerses participants in clinical medicine at Yale. They will also have opportunities to meet clinical and research faculty, medical students and residents, and residency program leadership. Finally, visiting students will get firsthand experience in the vibrant New Haven community.
