Brian Fuehrlein, MD, PhD, Assistant Professor of Psychiatry and Director of the Psychiatric Emergency Room at the VA Connecticut Healthcare System in West Haven, and Dale Sebastian, MBBS, a Clinician in the Yale Department of Psychiatry, have been selected for the Association of Directors of Medical Student Education in Psychiatry (ADMSEP) Education Scholars Program.
The two-year program is selective, and provides participants with didactics and mentorship to enhance their knowledge and skills in research methodology and education scholarship related to medical student education.
Fuehrlein and Sebastian are among six education scholars chosen to participate in the program, which will begin in June at the ADMSEP Annual Meeting in Minneapolis.
ADMSEP promotes the support and exchange of ideas for psychiatry medical student educators. Members include psychiatry faculty, clerkship coordinators, and residents.
