Overview

Amy Noyes, CPNP, MSN, is a certified pediatric nurse practitioner and specializes in orthopaedics. She focuses on children with sports-related injuries and special health care needs, including scoliosis, developmental dysplasia of hip, congenital hip dislocation, and cerebral palsy.

She says her favorite part of her job is helping children and families through challenging times and letting them know they are not alone. “Children are so innocent and their resiliency astounds me every day,” Noyes says. “I want to be able to help children so that they can achieve and do all they set their minds to. Seeing a child achieve something that once was thought impossible is amazing. Plus, I love smiles and giggles.”

To reassure patients and families, Noyes says she tells them, “We are in this together; I will be here for you and your child until we are all happy with the outcome.”

Noyes worked in United States Navy Medicine for 22 years and received Navy Medicine’s “Best of the Best” award in 2018. “I do my best to take a comprehensive approach to treating children with whatever their needs are, and I want families to be a part of that process,” she says.
