Extensive background in music performance and pedagogy. A Graduate Diploma with Distinction from the New England Conservatory and a Tanglewood Fellowship led to performing with the Boston Symphony and Pops, the Baltimore Symphony, New World Symphony, touring Pit Orchestras and Theater, Opera and Ballet Companies. Shifting career paths let to two years as a genealogical researcher for the New England Historic Genealogical Society leading to a passion for 19th century history, philosophy, and art research and a lifetime love of libraries.
