Overview
Elena Aragona, MD, is a pediatric hospitalist who specializes in the care of hospitalized children, with a focus on newborns. She provides evaluations and treatments for a range of health concerns, using approaches that help guide families through their children’s hospital stay.
As an assistant professor of pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine, Dr. Aragona conducts research on COVID-19 and its effects on newborn health, working to advance care practices that support infants during the earliest stages of life.
Dr. Aragona completed her medical training at Albany Medical College and pursued residency at Tufts Floating Hospital for Children, followed by a hospital medicine fellowship at Children’s National Medical Center.
