Yale-Uganda

Mission Statement

For over 15 years, Yale faculty from the Yale schools of Medicine, Nursing, and Public Health have been collaborating with colleagues in Uganda on a wide range of issues in global health. Centered at Makerere University and in other rural areas of the country, their work has focused on bidirectional capacity building and research related to non-communicable diseases; midwifery; OB/Gyn; trauma, general, and specialist surgical care; and infectious diseases including malaria, tuberculosis, and sleeping sickness. If you are interested in joining this Network, contact Tracy Rabin or Eleanor Reid.
