    2023 Leadership in Global Health Fellows

    Josiane Mumukunde Alix, YSPH '24: Josiane will work at the World Bank as a Climate and Health Agenda Fellow, focusing on low- and middle-income countries. In this role, she will be conducting literature reviews, synthesizing and triangulating evidence, and producing knowledge products to showcase findings.
    Mohammed Isa Bammami, YSPH '24: Mohammed will work at UNICEF as a Maternal Newborn Adolescent Health Fellow, within the unit of the Health section in Programme Division. He will be working around quantitative and qualitative analysis, development of knowledge products, advocacy and policy briefs and review of annual and period reports.
    Caroline Fjermedal, YSPH '24: Caroline will work at The International Rescue Committee (IRC) as a Staff Wellness Needs Assessment for Direct Service Teams Fellow. This project will focus on creating and implementing a staff wellness needs assessment for direct service staff (caseworkers, casework assistants, and supervisors) across 27 of IRC’s sites.
    Sophie Genigeorgis, YSPH '24: Sophie will work at UNDP as a Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) within HIV, Health and Development Fellow. In this role, she will collect information on UNDP's work on universal health coverage and pandemic preparedness and develop case studies and data analytics around these efforts.
    Nadir Ijaz, YSM-MHS '24: Nadir will work at The Global Fund as the Pandemic Preparedness and Response/Medical Oxygen, Test and Treat, Surveillance within the COVID-19 Response Mechanism Fellow. In this role, he will review past investments in medical oxygen, test and treat, and/or disease surveillance systems and analyze Global Fund data from health facility assessments to describe the impact of investments.
    Sandhya Kumar, YSPH-YC '24: Sandya will work GAVI as their Public Policy Fellow. She will be working to provide research, analysis and coordination support on health equity, immunisation on global health processes and their linkages with regional and national policies.
    Charles Minicucci, YSPH '24: Charlie will work at the World Bank as a Climate and Health Agenda Fellow, focusing on low- and middle-income countries.     Shruti Parthasarathy, YC '24: Shruti will work at The International Rescue Committee (IRC) as a Staff Wellness Needs Assessment for Direct Service Teams Fellow. This project will focus on creating and implementing a staff wellness needs assessment for direct service staff (caseworkers, casework assistants, and supervisors) across 27 of IRC’s sites.
    Himani Pattisam, YC '25: Himani will work at The International Rescue Committee (IRC) as a Virtual Supplemental Case Management Fellow. This project will focus on providing virtual supplemental case management to vulnerable populations for whom in-person services are not an option.
    Aliyah Romero, YSPH '24: Aliyah will work at UNDP as a Bureau for Policy and Programme Support (BPPS) within HIV, Health and Development Fellow. In this role, she will collect information on UNDP's work on universal health coverage and pandemic preparedness and develop case studies and data analytics around these efforts.
    Natalia Rovelo-Velazquez, YSPH '24: Natalia will work at UNICEF as a Maternal Newborn Adolescent Health Fellow, within the unit of the Health section in Programme Division.     Kailey Seiler, YSPH '24: Kailey will work at The Global Fund Pandemic as the Preparedness and Response/ Infection Prevention and Control Fellow. In this role, she will review past investments in infection prevention and control and waste management and analyze Global Fund data on health facility assessments to describe impact of investments.
