Rajita Sinha, PhD, Foundations Fund Professor of Psychiatry and professor in the Child Study Center and of neuroscience; and Graeme Mason, PhD, professor of radiology and biomedical imaging and of psychiatry, have been elected to officer and board positions for the Research Society on Alcohol (RSA).
Sinha was elected to a one-year term as vice president, and Mason was elected to the board of directors. His term expires in June 2027.
RSA is the world’s largest scientific research organization devoted to understanding the causes and complications of alcohol use and alcohol-related problems and to promoting effective strategies for prevention, intervention, and sustained behavior change. The mission of RSA is to provide a forum for communication and career development among alcohol researchers, to attract and support the next generation of alcohol researchers, and to disseminate scientific knowledge regarding alcohol use.
