Research Summary
Dr. Makhani's has explored key genetic and environmental risk factors determining MS risk is children presenting with a first attack of central nervous system demyelination. She is currently funded by NIH and the Charles H Hood Foundation to identify risk factors for MS in children with the radiologically isolated syndrome.
