Interviews

Given the necessity of virtual recruitment this year, the day and schedule will be different than in years past. We are committed to providing you with all information about our program despite a change in structure and format.

  • Interviews are by invitation only via Thalamus.
  • Interview days will be scheduled as half-days 2 to 3 days per week in November, December and January.
  • Interview days will be a mixture of Morning Sessions, Afternoon Sessions, and Evening Sessions with the goal of accommodating students who have schedule limitations or live in different time zones.
  • Interviews will be conducted virtually via Thalamus and Zoom.

For additional application resources, please visit The Association of American Colleges (AAMC) website and the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) website.

Inquiries

Recognizing that the burden of Zoom-time during the application season is real and intense, we limit our pre-interview social events to a weekly schedule where invited applicants will have ample time to interact with our trainees and get a better sense of who we are and what is important to us.

Follow us @yalepedsresidency on Instagram for more information.

For application inquiries, please contact our Residency Program Coordinators, at peds.residency@yale.edu or call 203-785-3898. Due to the high volume of calls and emails, responses may take up to 5-7 business days.

For additional application resources, please visit The Association of American Colleges (AAMC) website and the Association of Pediatric Program Directors (APPD) website.

Thank you for applying to our program. We look forward to reviewing your application!
