Quality Improvement Curriculum

In our children's hospital, we are constantly looking for ways to improve the care that we deliver to our patients, and our residents have taken a leadership role in this effort. In 2017, Yale-New Haven Children's Hospital was nationally recognized for QI work, and residents have the opportunity to connect with these QI leaders as mentors on resident-led initiatives. Residents who have been leaders of these projects frequently have the chance to present their work locally and nationally. All residents also participate in quality improvement educational sessions led by our QI staff, which are woven throughout the noon-time curriculum.
