The Department of Pediatrics has long held the education of medical students, residents, fellows and faculty as one of its core missions. Here at Yale, we strive to provide state-of-the-art, broad-based clinical training in a scholarly environment to foster future leaders in pediatric research, clinical care, education, quality improvement and advocacy. - The Yale Pediatric Residency Program is designed to combine intensive learning in patient care setting with supplemental, broad-based didactic experiences.
- The pediatric component of the Women’s Children & Health clerkship is a 6 week experience in which you will spend 3 weeks focused on inpatient care and 3 weeks focused on specialty care. The specialty rotation takes place across different patient care settings, inpatient and outpatient.
- Fellowship training at Yale provides you with superb clinical training, and the opportunity to develop into a top-notch physician, with expertise in clinical, basic or translational research.
- We offer a variety of opportunities for students interested in learning about pediatrics at Yale School of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics.
