Title: Kratom in Southeast Asia vs. "Kratom" Products in the US
Learning Objectives:
Participants will learn about differences between kratom consumed in Southeast Asian countries and “kratom” products consumed in the US. Specifically, they will learn about:
- Differences between available products and how they are consumed.
- Differences in their chemical composition and potential different pharmacological effects.
- Differences in safety profiles between kratom consumed in Southeast Asian countries and “kratom” products consumed in the US.
Addiction Medicine Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
