Addiction Recovery Clinic
The Addiction Recovery Clinic (ARC) is a specialty chronic disease management clinic embedded within the New Haven Primary Care Consortium (NHPCC). The ARC serves a dual mission to care for patients with substance use disorder (SUD) and to educate Yale Primary Care (YPC) residents, including trainees in the Collaborative Behavioral Health and Addiction Medicine in Primary Care (CHAMP) training program, in the identification and treatment of SUD. The ARC team consists of attending physicians, a behavioral health psychologist, advanced practice nurses, medical residents, students, and nurses. The ARC cares for patients with opioid use disorder, alcohol use disorder as well as other substance use disorders with pharmacotherapy and counseling. In addition, some of our clinicians provide addiction treatment services as part of their primary care practices in the NHPCC.
