Genetics Seminar Series: "Computational methods for spatial genomics"

Both genomes and cells exhibit spatial organizations that play crucial roles in human health and disease. However, the principles governing intranuclear molecular spatial organization and cellular spatial organization within complex tissues remain largely elusive. In this talk, I will introduce our recent work centered on developing computational methods to study single-cell genome organization and spatial transcriptomics. These methods have the potential to provide novel insights into the structure and function of the human genome, as well as the spatial organization of cells in complex tissues, across a broad range of biological contexts.
