Ana Lledo Delgado, MD

Ana Lledó Delgado graduated in Medicine and Surgery by the University Autónoma of Madrid (Madrid, Spain. 2011-2017). After graduating, she obtained a Master's Degree in Clinical Medicine (University Camilo José Cela, Madrid 2017-2018). Then, she joined the Department of Rheumatology at the Hospital 12 de Octubre, where she completed her residency in rheumatology (2018-2022). She is accredited by the European Alliance of Rheumatology in musculoskeletal ultrasound and in management of rheumatic disease patients.

In addition to her clinical training, Ana holds a Master's degree in Research Methodology in Health Sciences by the University of Salamanca (2018-2019) and Master´s degree in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics by the University of Barcelona-Oberta Cataluña (2022-2025).

After finishing her residency, in July 2022 she joined the Dr. Herold lab at the Immunobiology Department as a Postdoctoral Associate to understand distinct mechanisms that contribute to autoimmune disorders. In 2023, she was promoted to Associate Researcher in recognition of her contributions to lab research. Additionally, Ana collaborates as a bioinformatician with the Yale School of Medicine´s Library and other institutions, combining her knowledge in health science and computational methods. Additionally, Ana collaborates as a bioinformatician with the Yale School of Medicine Library and other institutions. She also serves as professor in the Master's Program in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics at the University of Barcelona (UB) and Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).
