Training overview

Yale IPS provides a 1-year training for chief-residents (PGY-4) or fellows focusing on interventional psychiatric treatments. As a pioneer in interventional psychiatry, Yale provides the trainees with vast opportunities to focus on clinical, research and educational aspects of the field throughout the year.

Interventional Psychiatry Electives for residents

Training overview

Yale IPS provides a month-long elective rotation for psychiatry residents at other US programs. This is a great opportunity for trainees who are unable to complete the fellowship program but are still interested in learning more about interventional psychiatry and get experience with these modalities of treatment.

Yale interventional psychiatry grand rounds are CME accredited, free grand rounds hosted by the Yale IPS service. These presentations, usually held once every two months, are online and available to the public.
