Kezia Dos Santos, MSHRM

Kezia Dos Santos is the Chief of Staff for the Department of Emergency Medicine and the senior advisor to Dr. Arjun Venkatesh, Department Chair, and Dr. Basmah Safdar, Vice Chair of Faculty Affairs. In this role, she provides strategic oversight of the department’s administration, faculty affairs, communications, and key initiatives. Working closely with leadership, she enhances operational efficiency and drives the department’s strategic objectives.

Kezia holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of Connecticut and a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resources Management from Sacred Heart University.

She began her Yale career in 2015, holding roles such as Senior Administrative Assistant at Sterling Memorial Library, Employee Relations Support Specialist at Yale School of Medicine (YSM) and Yale Human Resources, Assistant Administrator for the Departments of Microbial Pathogenesis and Cellular and Molecular Physiology, and Program Manager in the Office of Academic and Professional Development. Through these roles, she developed expertise in faculty affairs, leadership development, and strategic program management. She spearheaded initiatives that enhanced operational efficiency, improved faculty engagement, and streamlined critical processes to support institutional growth.

Before joining Yale, Kezia built a diverse background in the private sector, serving as an Assistant Program Manager, Executive Assistant, and Office Manager across various industries. Her experience in operations, human resources, and project management has equipped her with a dynamic skill set that fosters efficiency, collaboration, and innovation in every role she takes on.
