    Biography

    Nancy Shemrah Fallon has participated in child and adolescent social and mental health research for the past 24 years at the Yale Child Study Center in project coordination and digital technological capacities.

    2014 - present

    Early Childhood Peace Consortium (ECPC) Director Global communications:

    Global knowledge sharing and community-building, inclusive website, designed to represent the mission and activities of the ECPC.

    2006 - 2013

    • Project Coordinator: Complex tri-state assessment to understand issues of identity development of Muslim and Arab children growing up in the US to raise awareness at educational and policy-making levels
    • Innovations: the concept of digital multimedia design to share knowledge and build community trust; online human subject recruitment strategies (first online recruitment website at Yale) (website retired)

    1999 - 2005

    • Project Coordinator: Large scale, longitudinal assessments to identify socially and emotionally at-risk school youth in grades K-12 to inform intervention development for positive outcomes with a focus on the efficacy of science to practice translation to increase comprehension and utilization of findings among public urban, suburban, and private school administrations
    • Innovations: concept media design of reporting materials designed to more successfully engage school administration and teachers to better employ intervention strategies of proven value; highly organized data collection strategies resulting in 99% teacher response rate for viable data

    Other activities include employee supervision, budget development, IRB compliance, assistance with contract development, assistance with instrument development and design, liaison within and outside of the university (school administrations, press), graphic art design, video production, podcast production, and web development (Drupal CMS).
