WHO in an Evolving Global Landscape
Global Health Symposium
Each spring, YIGH hosts the Global Health Symposium, a signature event which brings together Yale faculty, students, and administrators to learn about global health at Yale, strengthen collaboration, and hear from renowned leaders in global health. The day-long gathering features Yale faculty and students working in global health and opportunities to engage including seed grants, fellowships, and faculty networks; and fosters networking within the global health community at Yale. Keynote speakers in the past have included Dr. Tedros, Director-General, World Health Organization; Dr. Laura Magaña, President and CEO of the Association of Schools and Programs of Public Health and Dr. Madhukar Pai, Inaugural Chair, Department of Global and Public Health, McGill School of Population and Global Health, McGill University.
