Dr. Ahmad R. Saleh is a physician in New York City that aims to transform healthcare for underserved populations. As the CEO and co-founder of MakeDeathsCount, he is pioneering advancements in mortality surveillance in low and middle-Income countries, addressing critical gaps in global health data. Ahmad’s innovative approach extends to global minimally invasive surgery, public health social entrepreneurship, and humanitarian research. Ahmad holds an MD from SUNY Downstate, an MPH from Yale School of Public Health, and has completed residencies at Columbia and Cornell.
