Biography

Dejan Zecevic is a Senior Research Scientist at the Department of Cellular and Molecular Physiology, Yale University School of Medicine. He received the PhD in Biophysics from The University of Belgrade, Serbia and was trained in the laboratory of Dr Lawrence Cohen (Yale University) who initiated the field of voltage-sensitive dye recording. Dejan is the pioneer of intracellular voltage-sensitive dye imaging technique, a unique and a cutting edge technology for monitoring electrical signaling in axons, dendrites, and dendritic spines.
