Pharmacology Department Diversity and Inclusion

The Department of Pharmacology recognizes that scientific excellence is achieved through an environment that is conducive to freedom of expression. The Department of Pharmacology is an inclusive community that is represented by our faculty, staff and trainees of diverse backgrounds. We recognize the importance of embracing diversity as a core value of the Department of Pharmacology and understand the responsibility to communicate these values as they are intimately linked to understanding the effects of drug action in diverse populations. We appreciate that in order to continue to aspire to a diverse environment active community engagement is necessary. The Department of Pharmacology has assembled a Diversity Committee composed of faculty and trainees from various backgrounds. Through the efforts of this committee we will strive to offer guidance, resources and establish policies that promote inclusivity.
