My primary research endeavor in fellowship was studying the prevalence and characteristics of oral injuries in young children. I currently am involved in various community hospital projects looking to improve pediatric care in the community emergency department setting, specifically at Greenwich Hospital. These projects include improving identification of abnormal pediatric vital signs and notification of providers, running quarterly pediatric simulations, and working with the code committee to improve access to and availability of pediatric critical care equipment.
