Biography
Ambika Bhatnagar is a Postgraduate Research Associate at Yale School of Medicine and Project Coordinator for Improving Pediatric Acute Care Through Simulation (ImPACTS). She finished her medical school from the prestigious B.J.Medical College, Ahmedabad, India (2017). She was a part of the Sepsis Advanced Forecasting Engine-ICU (SAFE-ICU) project in the Department of Pediatrics, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, where she led a project to create a thermographic model to be used for stratifying pediatrics patients at high risk for developing hemodynamic shock, using cell phone-attachable thermal cameras. Her current focus is simulation-based pediatrics research, aimed at improving pediatrics care at community hospitals. She aspires to be a Pediatrician, and wants to use innovative technology and telecommunication to improve health care delivery in resource limited areas.
