Adam Berkwitt is an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics who specializes in Pediatric Hospital Medicine and also serves as Medical Director for the Pediatric Short Stay Inpatient Unit at the York Street Campus. His educational and research interests include family-centered rounds, diagnostic error, neonatal abstinence syndrome and development of clinical pathways for the inpatient service. Outside of work, Adam spends the majority of his time strolling around East Rock attempting to train his unruly dog Bitsie Growler, a small French Bulldog with a serious Napoleon complex. He can also frequently be found viewing contemporary art shows curated by his wife Sarah at Artspace, a local non-profit art center in downtown New Haven.
