Biography
Shefali R Pathy, MD, MPH is Assistant Clinical Professor of OB/GYN in Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at Yale School of Medicine. She is the Director of Clerkships for Yale School of Medicine and the co-director of Women and Children's Health Clerkship, OBGYN Component. Clinically, she is the OB/GYN Director of the Women’s Center at Yale New Haven Hospital. Dr Pathy received her medical degree from the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in the Bronx, NY where she also completed her OB/GYN residency. Dr Pathy has spent the majority of her career working in an urban health setting, including Jacobi Hospital, Yale New Haven Hospital and Stamford Hospital. She has a strong interest in health care in the urban setting and medical education.

Shefali Pathy, MD, MPH, is an obstetrician-gynecologist and the director of the Yale New Haven Hospital Women’s Center.
Dr. Pathy says she enjoys being able to care for women throughout their lifespan as well as advocating for them and their health care decisions.
“I love making an impact on my patients for the positive, being able to guide women in their reproductive health care choices, and teaching the next generation of doctors, specifically women’s health care providers,” Dr. Pathy says.
Dr. Pathy has spent the majority of her career working in cities and has a strong interest in health care in the urban setting as well as medical education.
