Biography

Jana Young, is a Family Nurse Practitioner in New Haven, CT working full time in adult primary care. Prior to nursing, she obtained her Masters in Public Health (MPH) in Chicago while working as a health educator throughout the city. She attended Yale School of Nursing and obtained her Master's of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in diabetes management. During that time, she was an Executive Director of the HAVEN Free Clinic, a student run clinic providing high quality primary care to uninsured adults in the New Haven area free of charge. She subsequently completed an Adult Primary Care residency at the VA Medical Center in West Haven, CT. 

She currently sees patients full time at the Cornell Scott Hill Health Center in collaboration with the Yale Primary Care Internal Medicine Residency program. She specializes in complex chronic health conditions and is actively involved in the Yale Primary Care Addiction Recovery Clinic.
