Medical Education Discussion Group (MEDG)

The monthly CME accredited MEDG sessions are held via Zoom for anyone at Yale involved in, or interested in getting involved in, medical education. These sessions are designed to address a timely topic of interest and engaging discussion among participants.

Our facilitators include members of Yale faculty as well as guests from other schools who are experts in their field. Each session is held in an informal and interactive format. Typically the facilitator will begin with a brief presentation on the topic and then the session is open for questions and discussion among the participants.

MEDG sessions are free to everyone committed to medical education at Yale and accredited by the ACCME for 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CME Credit.

Discussions will center on how attendees may consider bringing aspects of medical improv skills, principles, and exercises into their teaching toolkits.
