Cancer Research Training & Education Coordination
The Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) Office, led by Michaela A. Dinan, PhD, is committed to developing the next generation of cancer researchers across all scientific disciplines, including basic, translational, clinical, and population-based research.
We support career development at every stage, from middle school students to junior faculty, helping to build a strong, diverse pipeline of future scientists and health professionals.
In collaboration with Yale School of Medicine (YSM), Yale School of Public Health (YSPH), and local community organizations, CRTEC fosters interdisciplinary partnerships and aligns its training programs with the priorities of Yale Cancer Center (YCC).
By working across all six YCC research programs, we deliver a unified, impactful educational experience that prepares trainees for success in cancer research.
We also lead outreach, mentoring, and hands-on research opportunities that spark early interest and help cultivate future leaders in science and healthcare.
