Biography

Victoria Harries is a Biological Anthropology PhD student at Yale University where she focuses on reproductive ecology. Her interests include breastfeeding, obesity, and parent-infant sleep relationships. Before coming to Yale, Victoria attended Durham University for a B.Sc in Health and Human Sciences, Oxford University for a M.Sc in Medical Anthropology, and Swansea University for a M.Sc in Child Public Health. During her undergraduate years she interned at the Parent Infant Sleep Lab at Durham University, collecting data on Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. She is excited for the opportunity to work in Samoa and is looking forward to her time there.
