    About

    Titles

    Associate Research Scientist in Pathology

    Biography

Dr. Ranjan is a biochemist and tumor immunologist with specialized expertise in cancer cell signaling, tumor immunobiology, and biomarker discovery. His research focuses on defining mechanisms by which tumor cells evade adaptive immune recognition, with particular emphasis on regulators of HLA class I antigen-processing and presentation machinery and their relationship to immunotherapy response in human solid tumors.

Dr. Ranjan’s work integrates human tumor specimens, high-throughput molecular profiling, spatial analysis, functional perturbation approaches, and patient-derived tumor models to identify actionable biomarkers and therapeutic vulnerabilities. His current program aims to translate mechanistic insights into biomarker-guided strategies that restore tumor immune visibility and improve responses to immunotherapy.
