    Biography

    Alexandra Hajduk, PhD, MPH, is a geriatric epidemiologist whose research focuses on improving patient-centered outcomes for older adults with cardiovascular disease. She is also Associate Director of Yale's Training Program in Geriatric Clinical Epidemiology & Aging-related Research as well as Deputy Director of Scientific Affairs at Yale School of Medicine's Office of Student Research.

    Overview

    Current projects include:

    • evaluating type 2 acute myocardial infarction in older adults as a candidate geriatric syndrome
    • identifying post-discharge characteristics associated with optimal patient-centered outcomes among older adult survivors of acute myocardial infarction
    • evaluating functional and cognitive sequelae of COVID-19 among older adults
    • investigating drivers of physician-scientist professional identity formation among U.S. medical students
