Thirty-five Yale Child Study Center (YCSC) faculty and staff members were recently recognized for long-term service at Yale as of fiscal year 2026. Each spring, YCSC community members gather to celebrate milestone work anniversaries at a departmental meeting. YCSC Chair Linda Mayes opens the meeting with a brief welcome.
At this year’s event, honorees celebrating 15 years or more were invited to share a few words about their time at Yale. YCSC long-term service recognition committee members Zsofia Leranth-Nagy, Michele Goyette-Ewing, and Ian Solomon announced the names of those recognized for five to 25 years of service. Mayes closed the event by announcing and briefly introducing the honorees recognized for 30, 35, and 50 years of service. A Zoom recording and photos from the event were shared within the department on SharePoint.
The following honorees were celebrated for their years of service and received a small gift to mark the milestone. In line with university guidelines for staff recognition, individuals are recognized in five-year increments. For faculty, time as a trainee is typically included as part of the years of service, and eligibility criteria include having a primary appointment in the department. Retired faculty and staff are not eligible.
