Biographical Info

Dr. Steiner serves as the Medical Director of the CT Mental Health Center, where she oversees programs in quality improvement, clinical risk management, and medical staff affairs. She is involved in initiatives to improve the health of individuals with serious mental illness who are served by the center and throughout the public system in CT. She is the Director for the Yale/CMHC Fellowship in Public Psychiatry which provides advanced training to psychiatrists who have an interest in pursuing careers in psychiatric administration within the public sector. She also serves as a psychiatric consultant within the Breast Center and Gynecologic Oncology programs of the Yale Cancer Center.
