Dr. Seo is a research faculty member with training in clinical psychology and expertise in cognitive and affective neuroscience and in addiction neuroimaging. Her research focuses on examining neurobiological mechanisms underlying stress, addiction, and cognitive control using multimodal neuroimaging techniques combining functional magnetic resonance imaging and electrocardiogram. She is also interested in conducting interdisciplinary research to understand the etiology of stress-related clinical disorders and facilitate the development of treatment strategies for stress-related diseases.
