Topic: Leveraging Nurses to Expand Access to Addiction Treatment
- Describe the role of the nurse in the treatment of substance use disorders in the outpatient setting.
- Identify three barriers to implementation of a nursing model of care in treating substance use disorders.
- Discuss the benefits of utilizing nurses in the treatment of substance use in the outpatient setting.
Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
