Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds: Leveraging Nurses to Expand Access to Addiction Treatment

The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Colleen LaBelle, MSN, RN-BC, CARN, as speaker for Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds on February 13, 2024.

Topic: Leveraging Nurses to Expand Access to Addiction Treatment

  1. Describe the role of the nurse in the treatment of substance use disorders in the outpatient setting.
  2. Identify three barriers to implementation of a nursing model of care in treating substance use disorders.
  3. Discuss the benefits of utilizing nurses in the treatment of substance use in the outpatient setting.


Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
