Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds: HIV Prevention - Addressing the Unmet Needs of Women with Substance Use Disorder

The Yale Program in Addiction Medicine is pleased to welcome Jaimie Meyer, MD, MS, as speaker for Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds on December 19, 2023.

This session of Addiction Medicine Rounds will be held virtually via Zoom.

Title: HIV Prevention: Addressing the Unmet Needs of Women with Substance Use Disorder

Learning Objectives:

    1. Identify women's unmet needs for HIV prevention and substance use disorder treatment
    2. Detail the SAVA syndemic (substance use, violence, HIV), and social and structural determinants of HIV outcomes for women
    3. Describe completed and ongoing research projects that address women’s unmet needs for HIV prevention

Addiction Medicine Grand Rounds are CME accredited. Each session will be assigned 1 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditsTM.
