New York Magazine Honors Members of Yale Cancer Center

New Haven, CT – Yale Cancer Center is proud to announce that twenty-eight of its members were named top doctors in New York Magazine’s Best Doctors issue, June 11, 2008.

The physicians included on the list are selected by their peers through nomination forms sent to over 12,000 doctors in the metro New York area; the listings represent the top 2 percent of New York area physicians. New York Magazine collaborated with Castle Connolly Medical, a research and publishing company, to produce the list.

The following members of Yale Cancer Center were recognized in the 2008 publication: Drs. Allen Bale, Edward Chu, Mark Cullen, Richard Edelson, Sukru Emre, Gary Friedlaender, Jonathan Knisely, John Kveton, Jill Lacy, David Leffell, Walter Longo, Shirley McCarthy, Pasquale Patrizio, John Persing, Richard Peschel, Joseph Piepmeier, Kenneth Roberts, Thomas Rutherford, Ronald Salem, Clarence Sasaki, Peter Schwartz, Richard Stahl, Lynn Tanoue, Hugh Taylor, J. Grant Thomson, Robert Udelsman, Jeffrey Weinreb, and Lynn Wilson.
