Overview
Susan Levy, MD, treats children with disorders of the brain and nervous system, particularly epilepsy. “I specialize in epilepsy because it is a field where I can make an impact on patient outcome and quality of life,” she says.
As a doctor in the Yale Comprehensive Epilepsy Center, Dr. Levy cares for patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit at Yale New Haven Children’s Hospital. She has a special interest in childhood epilepsy and in electroencephalography (EEG), a test that records electrical activity of the brain. She supports families from diagnosis through what can often be a difficult life-altering course of disease for everyone.
Connecticut Magazine has included Dr. Levy in its annual list of the state’s Top Doctors. She is a clinical professor of pediatrics and of neurology at Yale School of Medicine.
