Yale Neurology is pleased to announce the opening of a neuroCOVID clinic. Serena Spudich, MD, division chief of neurological infections and global neurology, will staff the clinic alongside Shelli Farhadian, MD, PhD, assistant professor of infectious disease and neurological infections, and Lindsay McAlpine, MD, PGY4 in Neurology. Dr. Spudich and team will harness the expertise that they have developed treating patients on the inpatient neuroCOVID consult service (see "Lessons" article, left). The neuroCOVID clinic will evaluate and treat patients who had COVID-19 and are now suffering from neurological sequela, which include headache, anosmia, cognitive difficulties, neuropathies, and weakness, among others (see "Neuropathogenesis" article, left). This will start out being a telehealth clinic and will occur monthly. Additional times will be added based on patient volume. For more information, call (203) 785-4085.
