Academic Programs

The Center for Medical Education offers a comprehensive educator development continuum of programs that span undergraduate, graduate and continuing professional development. This structure provides distinct pathways for educators at all experience levels, from students and trainees to faculty and practicing professionals, to grow as teachers and educational scholars.

For Students

The longitudinal Medical Education Concentration for MD and MD-PhD students helps students gain the skills and experience to be more effective educators and scholars.

For Residents

Residents play a major role as teachers of medical students. In partnership with the Graduate Medical Education (GME) office, the Center offers a variety of programs designed to train residents to become effective clinical educators.

For Fellows

Advanced training opportunities are available for fellows to refine their teaching practice, engage in educational leadership, and prepare for careers as clinician educators.
