Stephanos Fikru

Stephanos Fikru is a student at West Career and Technical Academy in Las Vegas, Nevada. He gained a national merit award for consistent volunteering from the Red Cross Club and was recognized for humanitarian efforts by the National Honors Society. Stephanos holds multiple leadership positions and currently works as a Team Captain at Nanoparticle Research Project on a project that seeks to eliminate tumor cells and combat pancreatic cancer. He is Co-Captain of BC Labs where he and partners used an existing machine learning device to create an accurate system that tracks the brain, heart, and veins. Stephanos is also the Executive Director of the Southern Nevada branch of the International Youth Neuroscience Association amongst other positions.
